We support the customer through engineering, co-design, pattern-making and reverse engineering

Engineering
We perform propeller design and sizing calculations, together with FEM structural analyses and CFD simulations using tools and workflows we have tailored to the specific requirements of marine propulsion.

Co-design
Our experience in the naval and marine sector allows us to understand the customer’s technical requirements and develop solutions jointly with their design office, shipyard or naval architect.

Patterns
Through our in-house pattern shop we produce foundry patterns quickly, by 3D printing or CNC milling, incorporating the shrinkage allowances, machining stock and moulding provisions required by each foundry.

Reverse Engineering
We carry out 3D scanning with state-of-the-art metrology equipment, obtaining complete manufacturing drawings and 3D models from existing parts in a short time, from which replacement or upgraded components can be produced.

Casting
Through our established foundry partners we supply raw castings in a range of marine alloys — manganese bronze, nickel-aluminium bronze (NiAl) and aluminium alloys — with short lead times.

Machining
For finish machining we rely on qualified machine shops with whom we have long-standing working relationships, ensuring dimensional accuracy and surface finish to drawing tolerances.
